Greetings fellow monsters!
It’s been a while now, hasn’t it? While I still drink tea, and craft my own tinctures and syrups from time to time, nothing has made me motivated enough to share any of it with you. But as the cold winter days lapse into spring, I feel the hammer of inspiration hitting me again. There has been a project I’ve been jokingly toying with for quite some time now, and I am getting pumped to start something new. I keep saying to myself and friends that I am interested in doing a Julie & Julia type thing. You know, where Amy Adams cooks her way through Meryl Streep’s – I mean, Julia Child’s classical French cookbook? It sounded like a fun yet intensive thing that floated in the peripheral of my head. But, knowing my lazy ass, can I actually do it?
That idea took root when I learned of the death of my all-time favorite cooking show host, Francis, from the youtube channel, “Cooking with Dog” last November. Which at that time, was the icing on the cake for a really horrible year. I felt as if my own dog had passed away. I loved how simple, easy to follow, and seasonal the recipes are.
So, here I am, looking through all (currently as I am writing this) 325 videos. Looks like I have a lot of planning to do! I like a challenge, especially a delicious one. Stay tuned for updates and weekly recipe breakdowns!
